Welcome

Hey there! You're looking at a few tools for Perpetuum (a serious game about robots). With these tools, you can plan and try some stuff without spending NIC or EP. Although there's currently no API or official data, most of what you'll find here is fairly accurate, based on multiple sources and manual labour.

In order to use this site, you will need to register with a valid e-mail address. After that, adding (and updating) your characters on this site is fairly painless. If you have questions, you can usually find me in the Perpetuum IRC or in-game as Doek.

News

August 21:
Now includes a mapping feature, using Google Maps to view Nia instead of Earth. Includes the ability to add your own markers (just click the map). Corporation-wide markers coming very soon (done). If anyone is interested in using this tool for tactical planning (e.g. NATO-style symbols), drop me a line.

August 17:
Accumulator stats! I'd like to think it's pretty accurate, as it runs a simulation to tell you if and when a fit will fail (but note that very few fits will actually have to be stable though).

August 14:
Big update, mostly behind-the-scene boring site code though. You can now share fittings site-wide or just within a corporation. Additionally, within a corporation, you can differentiate between normal members and fitting managers, allowing to keep the corporate collection clean and effective. Descriptions coming very soon (done).

August 1:
I've added some basic stats while fitting, things like CPU/powergrid usage. They are extension-based (so make an agent to look at the fitting with), and it doesn't really take requirements into account yet. I have a few things left to do, such as module states (active or otherwise) and charges. Hit me up (in-game or IRC) if you notice huge miscalculations, I've kept the debug option (bottom of the fitting screen) to indicate what is or isn't calculated. If you'd like, you can also mail me a screenshot of your in-game bot's fitting, and the agent/fitting used on this site. My address: doek@sequer.nl

Plenty of more to come. You can help me out just by using the site, so go ahead and try out some stuff. Skitter safe!
